Agree :) It's not easy to avoid falling prey to the child's hill, and these verses and that chart show us the mirror!

When I saw this chart soon after reading the Niti Shatakam verses, I could not get over how these are such accurate snapshots of human nature, though separated by a gulf of 1500 years!

Really liked this post, as well as the term "meta-ignorant" :)

It is interesting to think about what this means in today's world of AI - because, AI has drastically reduced the time to takes to learn the basics of a new subject (which can give us a false sense of expertise..)

True! The easier the access to knowledge more, the greater the chances of this effect kicking in.

All the more reason for all of us to be actively aware of whether and what we really “know”
